Ingredients
- 4 tbsp. butter, softened
- 1/2 cup superfine sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Directions

Beat butter, sugars and vegetable oil with a mixer on medium-high speed until creamy. Beat in water, vanilla, then egg. Beat in flour, baking soda and salt on low speed. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread the dough 1/4 inch thick on a buttered baking sheet. Bake at 350 until golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool then crumble.
