Ramen Slaw

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. pkg. broccoli coleslaw mix
  • 3/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup roasted and salted sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup toasted silvered almonds
  • 3 oz. pkg. soy sauce-flavored ramen noodles
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar

Directions

  1. Put broccoli coleslaw mix, green onions, sunflower seeds, and almonds in a large bowl. Break ramen noodles into small pieces and add to bowl. Reserve seasoning packet.

  2. Whisk together oil, sugar, vinegar and reserved seasoning in a small bowl; pour over slaw mixture and toss to coat. Chill at least 1 1/2 hours or up to 3 hours before serving.
