Ingredients
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 3 tbsp. water
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tarter
- 3 or 4 marshmallows
- 2-3 tbsp. powered sugar
- Flavoring
- Coloring (if desired)
Directions

Place in top of double boiler and start beating until soft peaks are formed.

Add 3-4 marshmallows. Beat again until stiff peaks are formed.

Remove from heat, but while still over hot water, add 2-3 tbsp. powered sugar.

Beat until sugar is mixed into the icing.

Add flavoring and coloring. Spread on cake.
