Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Minced shallot
- 1 tbsp. flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup milk
Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan over high heat. Add shallot. Whisk in flour and a pinch of salt, and cook, stirring, until golden about 2 minutes. Slowly whisk in milk, stirring constantly, until boiling again, about 3 minutes. Reduce the heat and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 3 more minutes.
