Blueberry Buckle

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cup blueberries
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Directions

  1. Buckle:

  2. Mix the first 7 ingredients well. Gently fold in the blueberries. Spread the mixture into a greased 9″ × 13″ pan..

  3. Topping:

  4. Mix first 3 ingredients. Knead butter into mixture with hands. Sprinkle over top of cake mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 – 50 minutes if using the 9" square pan and 30-35 minutes if using the 9″×13″ pan.
