Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup molasses
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons Kentucky bourbon, plus 1 teaspoon
- 1 1⁄2 cups pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 pie crust, 9", unbaked
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon superfine sugar
- 4 large eggs, slightly beaten

eheat oven to 350.

Combine sugar, molasses, eggs, butter, vanilla, flour and 2 tablespoons bourbon. Mix together until well blended. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Place pie dough into pie plate, fluting the edges, and pour mixture in top.

Bake at 350° F for 45-50 minutes. Center of pie will still be a little wiggly. Cool completely.

Meanwhile, whip together the cream, superfine sugar and 1 teaspoon bourbon. Serve pie topped with whipped cream.
