Ingredients
- 1 Challah, sliced
- 8 Eggs
- 2 C Milk
- 1 1/2 C Half & Half
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 3/4 C Butter
- 1 1/3 C Brown Sugar
- 3 Tbsp Light Corn Syrup
Directions

Butter 9×13 baking dish.

Arrange slices of bread on the bottom.

In large bowl, beat eggs, milk, Half & Half, vanilla & cinnamon.

Pour over bread slices & refrigerate overnight.

Pre-heat oven to 350.

In small saucepan combine butter, brown sugar & corn syrup. Heat until bubbling. Pour over bread & eggs.

Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.

Tips:

Don’t need syrup because of glaze

Sprinkle powdered sugar to look pretty

May not need all of the egg mixture – once bread is covered, discard the rest.

After setting overnight, pour off extra egg mixture
-
When baking, flip pieces over so they don’t get mushy.
