Penne with Sausage & Peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Penne
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 lb mild Italian Sausage
  • 1 large Red Bell Pepper - seeded & sliced
  • 1 large Green Bell Pepper - seeded & sliced
  • 1 small Onion - halved & sliced
  • 2 tsp Garlic Herb Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Parmesan Cheese

Directions

  1. Boil water & cook pasta.
  2. Warm oil in large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add sausage & cook, stirring to break up chunks, until no longer pink – Approx 5-6 mins.

  4. Remove sausage to plate & pour off all but 1 Tbsp fat.

  5. In same skillet, cook vegetables & seasoning over medium heat, stirring occasionally until vegetables are tender – Approx 12 minutes.

  6. Add sausage to pepper mixture, stir & cook until warmed through – Approx 30 seconds.

  7. Add sausage mixture to pasta & combine.

  8. Serve topped with Parmesan Cheese.
