Ingredients
- 2 C Milk
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Tbsp Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1 10 oz block Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 tsp ground Red Pepper
- 1/2 16oz pkg Elbow Macaroni, cooked
Directions

Preheat oven to 400

Microwave milk on high for 1 1/2 minutes

Melt butter in large skillet or dutch oven over medium-low heat.

Whisk in flour until smooth

Cook whisking constantly for 1 minute

Gradually whisk in warm milk & cook, whisking constantly for 5 minutes until thickened.

Whisk in salt & black pepper, 1 C shredded cheese & red pepper until smooth.

Stir in pasta

Spoon into a lightly greased 2 qt baking dish

Top with remaining cheese

Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until golden & bubbly
