Kerrnel’s Peachy Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 32-oz cans Bush's Baked Beans, drained (any combo of flavors)
  • 1 Sweet Onion, medium, diced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, medium/large, diced
  • 2 Peaches, skinned, cored, diced (or a small tin of peaches in water, diced)
  • 3 Tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar (to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp Hot Honey
  • 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce (Braswell's Honey Habanero)
  • 1/4c BBQ Rub (Meat Church Holy Voodoo) to taste
  • 1c Leftover Pulled Pork

Directions

  1. Heat oven or grill to 340F.

  2. I don’t measure, I eyeball, so these are guesstimates.

  3. For the beans, I drain them in a seive and quickly run them under some water before putting in Dutch oven.

  4. Combine ingredients into Dutch oven. Cover and cook in oven or on grill, stirring every 30 minutes.

  5. Cook 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

  6. Remove cover and serve.
