apple pie-crust and filling

Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 1 stick cubed butter-chilled
  • 1 1/4 C all purpose flour
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/4 C very cold water into well
  • Chill at least 1 hour

Directions

  1. pie filling

  2. melt 1 stick butter -ADD

  3. 1/4 C white sugar

  4. 1/2 C brown sugar

  5. 2 T corn starch

  6. 1/2 t nutmeg

  7. 1/2 t cinnamon

  8. Add to butterTHEN

  9. Apples 3 large honeycrisp apples sliced thin

  10. 1/4 C flour

  11. 3 T cornstarch into apples

  12. NOW -roll pie crust

  13. Filll crust with apples

  14. POUR filling over apples

  15. CRUMBLES-lightly processed in food processor

  16. 1 stick butter

  17. 1 C pecan

  18. 1/2 C brown sugar

  19. 3/4 C flour

  20. Egg wash on crust

  21. Bake 375 for 45-55 minutes
