squash strata

Ingredients

  • 3-4 squash- sliced
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c whole milk
  • pepper 1 t -Maybe small amount of salt but using garlic salt also
  • 7 c toasted french bread crumbs-(toast 250 degrees for 45 minutes)
  • 1 1/2 c white cheddar
  • 1 c fontina
  • 1/2 c parmesian
  • 2 t garlic salt

Directions

  1. saute squash in large skillet

  2. pour slightly cooled squash in all other ingredients

  3. Put into greased casserolle

  4. chill i hour- covered

  5. bake 350-30-40- minutes
