Ingredients
- 1 1/4 C half n half(used 3/4C cream + 1/2C whole milk)
- 4 egg yolks
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1 1/4 C whipping cream
- 2 t vanilla
- pinch of salt
Directions

heat half n half until bubbles form around edge of pan—do not boil—remove from heat

beat egg yolks and sugar on low for 1 minute or until slightly thickened

gradually add half n half on low-mix til blended

cook mixture til bubbles form on edge of pan—transfer mix to large bowl

gently stir in cream, vanilla and salt

cover and refrigerate 2 hours or until cold

pour cold mix into freezer bowl and let stir 15 to 20 minutes or until it becomes solf serve ice cream

transfer mix to a container and freeze`
