Peg Bracken’s Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 thick, medium pork chops
  • 6 T raw rice (can vary with amount of liquid)
  • pinch of marjoram and thyme
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 green pepper sliced into rings
  • salt & pepper

Directions

  1. brown pork chops in olive oil, seasoning while browning

  2. put rice on bottom of a baking dish, add pork chops and rest of ingedients

  3. bake in oven at 350F for 1 hour or slow cook in crock pot
