Ingredients
- 8 C Water
- 1/2 C fine Sea Salt
- 2 Tbsp Baking Soda
- 3 lbs Shrimp
Directions

Combine Water, Salt & Baking Soda in a large bowl & stir until dissolved (about 1 min 30 sec)

Add Shrimp & Ice. Chill 1 hour

Bring pot of salted water to boil (can add peppercorns, lemon juice, lemon wedges, etc.)

Once water has reached a really good boil, remove from heat & add Shrimp.

Put lid on pot & let cook 4-7 minutes.

Done when Shrimp turn pink.

While Shrimp are cooking, fill a large bowl with cold water & a lot of ice.

Once Shrimp are cooked, remove them from the hot water & put in ice water.
