apple pie-crust and filling

Ingredients
- Crust
- 1 stick cubed butter-chilled
- 1 1/4 C all purpose flour
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 C very cold water into well
- Chill at least 1 hour

melt 1 stick butter -ADD

1/4 C white sugar

1/2 C brown sugar

2 T corn starch

1/2 t nutmeg
-
1/2 t cinnamon

Add to butterTHEN

Apples 3 large honeycrisp apples sliced thin

1/4 C flour
-
3 T cornstarch into apples
-
NOW -roll pie crust
-
Filll crust with apples
-
POUR filling over apples
-
CRUMBLES-lightly processed in food processor
-
1 stick butter
-
1 C pecan
-
1/2 C brown sugar
-
3/4 C flour
-
Egg wash on crust
-
Bake 375 for 45-55 minutes
