Ingredients
- 1 lb Sirloin or Chuck Steaks
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 large Garlic Clove, minced
- 3 Tbsp canola oil, divided
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced into 1/4" strips
- 1 Green Bell Pepper sliced into 1/4" strips
- 1/2 Yellow Onion, thinly sliced
- 1 dozen Cherry Tomatoes, halved or one large, roughly chopped
- 2 Tbsp chopped Cilantro (optional)
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
Directions

Season steaks w/ salt, pepper and rub minced garlic over one side.

Place between two sheets of plastic wrap & pound until 1/4" thick.

Let sit for 10 minutes then cut into 1/2" wide strips

Heat 2 Tbsp Oil in large skillet on high heat. Add onions & peppers, cook stirring until just barely tender (1-2 minutes). Remove to bowl & keep warm

Heat additional Tbsp oil on high heat until oil is shimmering but not smoking. Add beef & brown initially without stirring but as soon as it browns on 1 side, then stir. Cook for no more than 1 minute (medium rare)

Add peppers & onions, tomatoes, cilantro, soy sauce & sesame oil & cook for 30 seconds longer stirring.

Remove from heat & serve alone or with rice.
