Brats

Ingredients

  • Johnsonville bratwursts
  • sliced onion
  • 1/2 package cabbage coleslaw
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1-2 cans beer
  • Submarine rolls or hot dog buns
  • Condiments

Directions

  1. Gently brown brats in a tbsp of butter.

  2. Top brats with sliced onion.

  3. Top with cabbage.

  4. Pour in 1-2 cans beer and boil until sausages are done and cabbage is tender.

  5. Remove brats from pan and drain excess liquid.

  6. Saute onion and cabbage in additional butter.

  7. Toast buns. Top sausage with desired condiments.
