Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C butter browned and let cool
- Cake
- Chop 1 1/2 C walnuts. Set aside
- Sift together
- 1 1/2 c cake flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- Add. 1 C sugar
- Separately
- 1/2 t vanilla
- Add walnuts
- 4 eggs whisked
- 1/2 c room temp milk
- 1c canola
- Add walnuts into wet ingredients
- Slowly pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients
- Frosting:
- Browned butter creamed
- 2 c sifted confectionary sugar
- Cream
Directions

Bake cake in 2 prepared cake pans at 350 for 25 minutes

Frosting only enough for middle layer and top. Not sides
