Ingredients
- 12 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 C super fine sugar-Beat in mixer-medium speed
- 1/2 C dark rum-add-beat on low
- cognac 1/2 bottle beat in mixer
- 3 C bourbon
- Pour mixture into larger bowl.
- Add1/2 quart heavy cream into empty mixing bowl
- Then add another 1/2 quart heavy cream
- into bowl with alcohol mixture
- Add 1/4 gallon of milk into mixing bowl-beat on low
- Add to serving bowl
- Before you serve then:
- Beat 12 egg whites, adding nutmeg and sugar if you want and 1/2 t vanilla
- Dollop on top with large spoonfuls and fold in some of meringue into mixture
- Grate some nutmeg on top
