Butterscotch Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients

  • To make your butter mixture just combine:
  • 1 softened stick of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Mix those up well and store in the fridge until you’re ready to make your drink.
  • When you’re ready to make your drink add 2 tbsp (heaping) of the butter mixture to a heatproof mug and top it with about a cup of boiling water and stir to combine. Add 2 ozs Spiced Rum and 2 ozs of Butterscotch Schnapps and stir again.
  • I topped with whipped cream, caramel sauce drizzle and a cinnamon stick to stir it with! Enjoy!
