Pasta w/garlicky greens and beans

Serves 6 peopleIngredients
- 1 T olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 bunch kale, washed and chopped, stems removed
- 1/4 c. chicken broth
- 2 T balsamic vinegar
- 1 lb ziti pasta
- 2 cans cannellini beans, drained
- 1/2 c. Romano cheese, grated
- freshly-ground black pepper
Directions

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and red pepper and sauté 2 minutes – do not let garlic brown.

Add kale and cook 1 minute.

Add broth and vinegar, cover pan, and cook until kale is wilted, about 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, start cooking pasta.

When kale is cooked, add beans and incorporate.

Add pasta and toss gently.

Serve w/Romano cheese and black pepper on top.
