Black and white bean chili

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 T vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 1 can chopped green chilies
  • 3 c chicken broth
  • 1 T chili powder
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 15-oz can black beans, drained
  • 15-oz can cannellini beans, drained
  • chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Heat oil. Sauté onion and garlic.

  2. Stir in other ingredients, except cilantro.

  3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover.

  4. Simmer 30 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle w/cilantro to serve.
