macaroni cheese/paula dean

Ingredients

  • 16 oz pasta
  • 16 oz sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 3 tbs butter1 c evaporated milk
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • salt

Directions

  1. slightly overcook pasta

  2. grate 12 oz cheese and dice rest into 1/2 inch cubes

  3. Add cheese to warm pasta-reserving some for top

  4. add sour cream,, butter and evaporated milk

  5. add cream cheese-stir well

  6. when mixture not too hot add eggs

  7. pou into 9×13 well sprayed or buttered

  8. bake 350 for 25 minutes-take out and stir

  9. bake another 20 minutes.

  10. top with more grated cheese- cook 5 more minutes
