Ingredients
- 8 T melted butter plus some for the pa1 C all purpose flour plus some for the pan
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 c whole milk
- 1/4 c sour cream
Directions

COMPOTE

fruit

2/3 c sugar

1 tsp lemon zest

2 tsp fresh lemon juice

2 T cornstarch

Make
-
add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just incorporated

Pour 2/3 of compote into bottom of prepared pan

pour cake batter over that compote

Use a knife and swirl in the remaining 1/3 compote

bake-400 degrees for 25 minutes

MAKEcompote

mix ingredients all together and simmer over medium heat , stirring constantly, Just for a couple minutes

Let cool
