Ingredients
- 1/2 C butter
- 1/2 C solid crisco
- Beat
- 1 3/4 C white sugar
- 6 room temp egg whites-beat in one at a time and slowly beat
- Prepare
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 1/2 C all purpose flour
- And wet ingredients
- 1 1/2 C buttermilk t vanilla
- Add alternately-starting and ending with dry ingredients
- DONT MIX MORE THAN 2 MINUTESGrease and flour pans-Can line bottom with parchment paper
- Bake 325 for 28-30 minutes -check after 22 minutes
- After out of oven 10 minutes- turn onto parchment paper
