Ingredients

  • - 1 pie crust
  • - 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • - 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • - 4 large eggs
  • - 1 cup milk
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • - 1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)

Directions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure your quiche cooks evenly.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and thyme until it’s well mixed and fluffy.

  3. Take your pie crust and spread the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese evenly inside. If you’re feeling adventurous, sprinkle some chopped onion for extra flavor!

  4. Carefully pour the egg mixture over everything in the pie crust, making sure it gets into all the nooks and crannies.

  5. Pop your quiche into the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until it’s set and has a lovely golden-brown top.

  6. Once it’s out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into it. Enjoy your delicious creation!
