Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 chicken, skinned and cut up
- salt
- pepper
- 4 large onions, sliced
- 4 oz mushrooms
- 2 cubes chicken bouillon
- 1-1/2 cups white rice
Directions

In a large 4-quart casserole, place butter, chicken pieces, salt & pepper, onions, and mushrooms. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Remove chicken.

To pan drippings in pan, add enough boiling water to make 5/6 cups. Dissolve bouillon cubes in this liquid. Replace chicken into pan. Cover and continue to bake for 1 hour.
