Pork Chops – Panko Breading

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless Pork Loin Chops (about 1" thick)
  • 2 tsp Seasoned Salt (Lawry's)
  • 1/2 C Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 C Milk
  • 1 C Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 4 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 C Grated Parmesan

Directions

  1. Remove pork chops from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. Sprinkle with 1 tsp of seasoned salt then let them come to room temperature.

  3. Whisk together flour, remaining 1 tsp seasoned salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg & milk.

  5. In a third bowl, mix together panko crumbs and olive oil (use your fingers to rub the oil into the panko if necessary.) Stir in parmesan.

  6. Pat pork chops dry. Dredge each in flour mixture, shaking to remove excess. Dip in egg mixture, letting any excess drip off. Finally dredge in panko mixture.

  7. In an air fryer basket place in single layer. Cook at 390 for 16 minutes. Flip and cook for 12 more minutes (8 minutes/6 minutes for thin chops). Internal temperature of 145’.
