Ingredients
- 1/2 box penne pasta
- 1 bunch asparagus, cut into 1 inch segments
- 1 medium tomato, roughly chunked
- 2 tablespoonsolive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon bacon bits
- salt & pepper
Directions

Bring a medium pot of water to boil. Add pasta.

Cook for 10 minutes.

Add asparagus, cook for 2 minutes.

Drain pasta and asparagus in a collander. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon garlic to the pot and mix around for about 30 seconds.

Add pasta and asparagus back to pot.

Add tomatoes, mix.

Add salt, pepper and bacon bits. Drizzle with remaining olive oil, mix, and serve.
