Ingredients

• 1 pkg. (9 oz.) yellow cake mix *
• 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding mix
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
• 2 medium tart apples, peeled and shredded
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions

1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, sour cream and butter on medium

2. speed for 2 minutes.

3. Pour half into a greased 8" square baking dish. Top with apples.

4. Combine the sugar, nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle half over the apples. Top with remaining batter and

5. sugar mixture.

6. Bake at 350° F., for 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

7. Cool on a wire rack.

8. Yield: 9 servings.

9. *NOTE—-Please note that this is a 9-oz. cake mix, not the 18-oz. size. I used a Jiffy mix. (Peg)
