- 100g of mushrooms

- White Sauce:
- 300ml of milk
- 150g of grated chedder
- 20g of butter
- 25g of plain flour

These Edam cheese muffins with bacon and sun-dried tomatoes are great for hampers, picnics and kids’ lunchboxes. Delicious warm or cold.
For a change, use cooked diced ham instead of bacon. These muffins are best eaten the day they’re made, but you can also store them in an airtight container for 2-3 days in the fridge.

Serve immediately in hot dishes or on heated plates. This dish can be frozen, but the potatoes do not freeze well. To reheat, defrost thoroughly and then place in a saucepan, bring to the boil, cover and reduce the heat to a simmer, simmer for at least 25 minutes or until piping hot. Serve with mashed potatoes.
