Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup cornmeal (had self-rising for this recipe)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup yogurt or buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp baking powder (2 tsp if not using self-rising cornmeal)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda (1 tsp if not using self-rising cornmeal)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- spices to taste: nutmeg, ginger, allspice
- dash cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup chives and scallions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions

Preheat oven to 360 deg farenheit.

Mix all dry ingredients. Mix all wet ingredients. Mix together. May need to add a bit of water if mixture is too dry. Pour into muffin tins and bake 22-25 mins.
