Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1-11⁄2 Cups sugar
  • 1 TB. REGULAR MUSTARD POWDER
  • 1 tsp. SHALLOT SALT
  • 2⁄3 Cup white vinegar
  • 3 TB. MINCED WHITE ONIONS
  • 2 Cups vegetable oil
  • 4 TB. WHOLE BLUE POPPY SEEDS

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine the sugar, MUSTARD

  2. POWDER, SHALLOT SALT, vinegar and

  3. ONIONS and process until smooth.

  4. Add the oil and POPPY SEEDS and blend again.

  5. Store in the fridge in a large glass jar. This dressing keeps well and is delicious on either fruit or vegetable salads—use 2-3 TB. per serving.
