Ingredients
- 1 lb Rienzi Mezzo Ditale Pasta
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 15 oz can White or Red kidney beans, rinsed thoroughly
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 3 cups of water
- S & P
- 1/2 cup pecorino romano cheese, grated
- celery
Directions

- Cook pasta until al dente. Drain.

- In a 2 qt saucepan saute onions with oil until golden. Add beans, water and simmer for 20 minutes while stirring. Add to pasta and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle cheese on top and serve. Add celery to garnish.
