Split Pea, Lentil, or Mung Spread

Ingredients
- 1 cup legumes
- 2 cups water
- salt to taste
Directions

Cook the legumes (in proportions: 1 cup legumes to 2 cups water) until soft, about 45 minutes. Drain off excess water.

Puree to the consistency of applesauce. Salt to taste.
