Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry beefy onion soup mix
  • 1 1/4 cups beef broth
  • 2-3 pounds pot roast
  • flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • rosemary
  • 2 T cornstarch

Directions

  1. Season beef with salt, pepper, rosemary, dust with flour.

  2. Sear beef on all sides in olive oil.

  3. In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and broth. Can add a little more broth if desired. Place pot roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture.

  4. Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.

  5. Add cornstarch to thicken gravy
