Stovetop BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 TBL olive oil
  • 1 cup zero carb bbq sauce
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

  1. Season the chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skiller over medium high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned, 3 minutes per side.

  3. Meanwhile, whisk together the BBQ sauce and water.

  4. Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken, lower the heat to medium-low, and let simmer, covered for 35 to 40 minutes until tender.
