Anzac biscuits

Ingredients

  • 125g butter
  • 2T golden syrup
  • 1/2 t bicarb soda
  • 2T boiling water
  • 1 cup rolled oats (90g)
  • 1 cup plain flour (150g)
  • 1 cup caster sugar (220g)
  • 3/4 cup coconut (65g)

Directions

  1. Melt butter and syrup together in a small saucepan.

  2. Combine bicarb and water, then mix into the saucepan.

  3. Dump in everything else and mix well.

  4. Put 1 teaspon balls of mix on an oven tray. Bake in a slow oven (160C) for 15-20 minutes.
