Garam Masala Gobi

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 pound macadamia nuts, unsoaked
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 T salt
  • 3 T garam masala
  • cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 1 bunch cilantro to garnish

Directions

  1. Break apart cauliflower into florets and set aside.

  2. Blend mac nuts in blender with just enough olive oil to reach a creamy consistency.

  3. Add juice of 1 lemon, salt, cayenne and garam masala. Blend until thoroughly mixed.

  4. Pour sauce over florets and massage to evenly coat.

  5. Place in casserole dish and dehydrate for 1-2 hours at 145o.

  6. Chop cilantro and sprinkle on top to garnish before serving.
