Ingredients
- 2 pounds green beans, ends trimmed
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1 T chopped fresh thyme
- dressing:
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions

To prepare the beans, blanch beans in a large pot of boiling water for 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain well.

Combine all ingredients for dressing in a small bowl, and stir with a wire whisk.

Place beans, almonds, and thyme in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss well to coat.
