Ingredients
- I lb of LEAN ground beef
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Red Bell Pepper
- 1 Onion
- McCormick's SALT FREE Savory Seasoning (to taste)
- Garlic Powder (to taste)
- Sea Salt (to taste)
- Fresh Diced Tomatoes (or NO SALT ADDED canned diced tomatoes)
- Brown Rice
Directions

Brown and scramble ground beef, drain.

Add veggies and saute with seasoning and a little bit of olive oil (as you know, don’t put more than you’re allowed, although if you’re cooking for more than one this shouldn’t be a problem).

Add tomatoes, cook for about 5 minutes. While this is all cooking I cook my 10 minute brown rice.

Note: I usually add olive oil, sprinkle of sea salt, garlic powder and McCormick’s savory seasoning to the rice while cooking it…..

Combine beef and rice mixture and serve.
