Ghee Rice Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups Basmati Rice
- 1/4 cup Ghee
- Milk exreacted from 1/2 a Coconut
- 2 Cup Onions thinly sliced
- 1 small Chinnamon broke into pieces
- 1/4 tsp Cloves
- 2 Bay leaves
- 5-6 Cardamom crushed
- 1/4 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Roasted Cashews and Raisins
- Salt for taste

Wash the rice throughly and drain the water. Keep a thick bottomed pan on the stove and add ghee. Add onions, cinnamon, bay leaves,cloves, ginger garlic paste and cardamom and fry for 2-3 minutes. After that add the rice which is kept aside and saute for 2-3 minutes. Once done remove ingredients to a pressure cooker and coconut milk, water and salt and pressure cook till the rice is done.Mix roasted cashews and raisins and leave aside for 15 minutes. Serve warm
