Ingredients
- 2 Alugadde/Alu/Potatoes
- 2 Cups Curds/Yoghurt
- 1 Green Chily, Chopped
- 1tbsp Coriander leaves
- 5 Curry leaves
- 1tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Kadalebele/Bengal Gram
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Uddinabele/Urad Dal/Black Gram Split
- 2tbsp Finely Chopped Onion (Optional)
- Salt to taste

Boil Potatoes, peel and mash lightly and remove to a mixing bowl. Let it cool. Add Curds, Salt, Coriander leaves and mix well. Heat Oil, add Mustard Seeds, Kadalebele/Bengal Gram and Uddinabele/Urad Dal/Black Gram Split. When the Mustard Seeds start spluttering and the Grams start turning golden brown add Green Chilies and Curry leaves. Add this to the Potatoes and Yoghurt mixture and mix well. Remove to a serving dish and add Onions and Coriander leaves and mix well. Serve with Phulka or Rice.
