Hesarubele Payasa

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Hesarubele / Split Green Gram
  • 2 Cups Jaggery, grated
  • 10 – 12 Raisins, Fried in Ghee
  • 5 -6 Cashew nuts, Chopped and fried in Ghee
  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk, Optional
  • 1tsp Cardamom Powder

Directions

  1. Roast Hesarubele and cook with 2 cups of water until soft. Add Coconut Milk, Jaggery and bring it to a boil. Add Cardamom powder Raisins and Cashew nuts and mix well. Serve hot.
