Ingredients
- Oats- 1 cup
- White rawa-1 cup
- Vegetables- grated carrot,peas-a handful
- Grated ginger-1" piece
- Sour curd-2 cups
- Mustard-1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds-1 teaspoon
- Gram dhal- 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil-1 teaspoon
Directions

Dry roast oats and powder.[optional]

In a large bowl combine rawa,oats,grated carrot,peas,ginger,salt.

Add curd little by little and make a batter.The quantity of curd can vary between 1 1/2 – 2 cups.Add water if necessary.The batter must not be too watery.

In a small pan,heat oil and put in mustard,cumin seeds,gram dhal and when the dhal turns brown pour into batter.

Mix well and let it sit for 15 minutes.Adjust the consistency if required.

Pour into greased idli molds and steam for 15 minutes or till a skewer comes out clean.

Serve hot with a chutney or sambar
