Ingredients
- 400g Minced Beef
- 1 large pepper, diced
- 3 medium onions, cut into large chunks/quartered
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1.5 tsp ground cumin
- 1 jar passata
- tomato puree
- Try adding chopped cooking chorizo
Directions

Heat dripping/lard in casserole pot on stove top on a medium heat.

Fry beef (& chorizo) until starting to brown.

Add pepper & onions & fry until cooked.

Add chilli powder, cumin & tomato puree & mix well.

Cook for a few mins stiring continuously.

Add passata & season with salt & pepper.

Cook for 20-30 mins until reduced – stiring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Add more chilli/salt/cumin if necessary.
