Farmhouse Basic Waffles

Use our Farmhouse Mix to make them quickly. If your kids don’t like walnuts, chop them finely in a food processor and add them to the mix.

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 baking soda
- 1/4 t. salt
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup avocado oil/melted butter
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 cup walnuts, optional
- top with bananas, strawberries

Get your waffle iron ready.

Pour waffle mix into a bowl. Mix all the wet ingredients and combine with dry ingredients. (NOTE: the batter should be on the thin side, so add more water or thinned yogurt if needed.)

Add the walnuts and stir into mix. Cook according to waffle iron’s instructions.

**This mix also makes good pancakes cooked on a griddle or skillet.
