Mushroom Poppers

Ingredients

  • 2 large egg whites
  • 2 tsp water
  • 2/3 cup plain panko crumbs
  • 1/4 cup shredded or grated park
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning, crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 pound bite size whole button mushrooms (~32)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400

  2. Whisk together egg whites and water

  3. Stir together remaining ingredients except pushrooms

  4. Dip mushrooms in egg whites, then dry mixture, then put on baking sheet

  5. Bake 8-10 minutes
