Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Serves 4 people
Ingredients
- 8 cabbage leaves
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 lb ground pastured beef
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 1 salt
- 1 t. black ground pepper
- SAUCE
- 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 T. brown sugar
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1 t. soy sauce
Directions

Prepare rice by following package directions. Wash cabbages leaves.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Dip cabbage leaves in boiling water for about 2 minutes; drain.

In a large bowl combine 1 cup cooked rice, ground beef, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

Place 1/4 cup of meat and rice mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Roll and tuck the ends so that it contains the mixture. Place rolls in a large skillet and pour the sauce over the top.

Cover and bring to a boil; reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 40 minutes
